The Great Long $3 Book Fair (this year over 25 days) features more than 250 boxes of books, both fiction and non-fiction. Most books are $3 however we do have a purple table which is more expensive. We also feature large print, westerns, romance and science fiction. DVDs are $2 and CDs are $1 and 10 for $5.
Children’s fiction and non-fiction are 2 for $1.
Our holiday special is 10 small paperbacks (usually $1 each) now 10 for $5.
More stock is being added daily so you may wish to visit several times over our 25-day book fair (Saturday 18th December to Sunday 9th January).
The Tirau War Memorial Hall is located on the main road through Tirau (SH1) in the middle of the town, just before the road rises as you head south.
We also have a range of wind wands, bird boxes, concrete plaques and succulents for your garden.
Sorry, no EFTPOS. We take cash or payment via your mobile phone banking app.
We prefer that all persons entering the hall are vaccinated.
