Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway Information Session - Dannevirke

With earthworks on Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway rapidly reshaping the landscape at both ends of the 11.5km route, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is holding a series of public information sessions around the region this month to update the community on the project. These sessions are an opportunity to see the latest drone footage of highway construction and to chat with members of the team. There’ll be photo displays of some of the heavy machinery being used AND you’ll be able to test-drive the highway with a simulator If you’re interested in finding out about training and employment opportunities for the next major earthworks season, please come along and talk with the team.
