Melissa & The Dr will once again take to the stage in the Garden with a fine band of musicians to bring you an afternoon of music with a country flavour. Melissa Partridge is one of the finest country singers in NZ and The Dr (Hyram Twang) has this music in his pedigree – a southwest desert wind blows through every strummed chord and keening harmony. They are skilled practitioners of neo-traditional country, alt-country and Americana music that is as honest and heartfelt as the days are long. Bring a blanket and your dancin’ shoes!
