Go Eco are hosting a series of free gardening workshops this winter, and welcome beginners and experts to join us.
This workshop is an introduction to raising your own seedlings. By raising your own seed you significantly increase the variety of plants that are available to you. The seedlings you can buy are only a fraction of the diverse range of seeds that are out there. Also the beautiful world of heritage vegetables lies in front of you with many varieties that will not only provide you with food but also with seeds for the years to come.
Learning to raise plants from seed and care for them makes gardening cheaper and more exciting. We will demonstrate how to sow seeds and prick out seedlings. Bring along some of your favourite seeds and some stories about your successes and failures.
