Back from the COVID 19 brink and for ONE night only, the Papamoa Hills Night Walk is back. This year you can bring your tamariki aged 10+ to the 5.30 and 6pm Waves; after that walkers need to be aged 13+ for waves that start at 6.30 through to 8.30.
The walk starts at Poplar Lane Carpark and follows a well-marked route for about 5kms to Summerhill Farm Park and the Mongolian Ger. There you can enjoy a hot drink and cake as well as some live music before you are driven back to your car. It'll be dark and cold and it's mostly uphill. Why do we do it? Because this is a unique opportunity to do this walk at night under the moon and stars - and all funds raised support the work of the Breast Cancer Support Service Tauranga Trust who support those who have breast cancer in the Western Bay of Plenty.
So get your whānau, friends or workmates together for a fun night under the stars.
