Join Jenny May to tour this sacred space and explore its architectural history.
The first church to be built on the plains by Angilcan settlers, St Michael and All Angels’ congregation soon outgrew the original building, which was replaced by Crisps’ Gothic Revival structure that now stands on the site. Jenny May, architectural historian, will take you through this building’s story – from its inception, through architect-client feuds, to the atmospheric space that welcomes people today.
Meeting point: Bell Tower
