Newtown Education Session on Tenancy and Housing Law

Our resident community rōia working in housing and tenancy is coming to Newtown to talk about important topics and things you may need to know as a tenant, boarder, and/or flatmate. The session will cover things like:

- The Residential Tenancies Act 1986 and excluded tenancies;
- Key changes to the RTA (such as changes to evictions and periodic tenancies)
- Healthy homes standards
- Where to go for help, and how Community law can help you
