Sauerkraut workshop with fresh ingredients in the gardens at Tomtit Farm, followed by taste testers and a garden tour.

Join Marea Verry, founder of GoodBugs in her Sauerkraut workshop hosted in the beautiful gardens at Tomtit Farm. Learn to ferment traditional sauerkraut and other vegetables to increase their digestibility, nutritional value, and to create your own probiotic foods.

In this class you will learn how the fermentation process works, taste some samples and then you’ll make your own jar of kraut to take home and ferment. We will provide the ingredients and lots of help.

After your workshop you will have the opportunity to talk about sustainable farming and see tools of organic market gardening in action. Brittany Morison from Tomtit Farm will show where the magic happens in their market garden.
