Learn to make Gnocchi! Bring your friends and enjoy some fun, hands-on cooking in Whangārei - all ingredients are provided.
In this class, we will make and present the three most recognised types of gnocchi:
Italienne (potato) – finished with a basil pesto
Romaine (semolina) – finished with a tomato sauce
Parisienne (choux pastry) – finished with a mushroom and cream reduction
We will also have a look at a couple variations on the theme (e.g. Gnocchi Parisienne makes great fritters when deep-fried, or savoury eclairs when baked). These recipes are suitable to be made at home in smaller quantities and are very adaptable for serving.
