AWS Deep Racer Event

Have you heard of AWS Deep Racer?

Through a cloud-based 3D racing simulator you can experience the thrill of the race in the real-world. With a fully autonomous 1/18th scale race car driven by advanced machine learning complete in a global racing league.

AWS is bringing their DeepRacer 3D racing simulator to EIT on 5th May and you are invited to join the fun!

Before you can compete at the main event (Wednesday 5th May), against fellow students in time trials of model race cars around a track, you first need to attend a workshop to learn the fundamentals of the software and some other basic training. The training session is on 28th April from 9 am-1 pm in EIT's newly expanded Robotics lab at the Taradale campus.
