When Organ Meets Trumpet

Paul Chan, with trumpeter Jake Krishnamurti, will present an exciting programme including Prelude and Fugue in E-flat major BWV 552 by Bach, Sonata in D by Purcell, and Prayer of St Gregory by Alan Hovhaness. Jake will also play famous trumpet tunes such as Te Deum by Charpentier and Rondeau by Purcell, interspersed with organ solo works including Elizabethan Serenade, Highland Cathedral, and a Norwegian composition.

Paul is currently the organist of St Matthew-in-the-City and King's College in Auckland. Jake is a recent graduate in classical trumpet and computer science and has performed with APO and Auckland Youth Orchestra. Both are very accomplished players.
