This is a free public commemoration acknowledging the United Nations International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and other camps.
Join survivors and other distinguished guests as we hear speeches, prayers, light a candle and lay stones, remembering not only the horrors but also the fortitude of survivors and proclaim never again.
Free public bus from Parliament gates, Molesworth St, leaves at 12pm to Makara, stopping at Karori library bus stop on the way there and on the way back to Parliament gates. (sponsored by The Wilson Funeral Home)
