The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert movie is back on the big screen where she belongs, Flash Mob Entertainment and Rainbow Storytime NZ presents Taranaki's first sing-a-long screening of Stephan Elliot’s The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert on Friday 14th August 2020 at Event Cinemas, New Plymouth.

With special guest hosts Erika & CoCo Flash, we are asking you to be a ‘drag’ – get frocked up and come along and sing-along with Abba, Village People, Gloria Gaynor and more at the world’s first interactive screening of the iconic Aussie classic film.

Wearing Academy award-winning glitzy, flashy and outrageous costumes three drag queens played by Terence Stamp, Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce journey across the outback to the ‘Alice’ in a bus they have named Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

For a night to remember, dress to impress and win a prize, dance in the aisles, grab an interactive goodie bag, song sheets, a Pop'n'Coke combo and go home knowing you have helped a wonderful cause all in the name of fun! By coming along to Priscilla – you are supporting Erika & CoCo's NZ-wide tour of Rainbow Storytime sharing the message and joy of acceptance, inclusion and kindness.

$30 per ticket GA (no allocated seating so need to worry about booking seats for your friends). Plus we don't want you to be seated the whole movie, you will be dancing and singing in the aisles!

Movie rated M - suitable for mature audiences 16 years of age and over.
