Selwyn 2020 Campaign Launch

Selwyn residents can take Labour’s 'Let’s keep moving' slogan literally on Saturday 18 July as Selwyn’s Labour candidate Reuben Davidson launches his 2020 campaign with a free performance from musicians Delaney Davidson and Barry Saunders — recently awarded New Zealand’s Best Country Music Artists of the Year 2020.

Join us at 12 noon at the Rolleston Community Centre — we look forward to seeing the community out in force for this big day.

“This is a chance for the Selwyn community to come together for a free concert in Rolleston, a family friendly event, and a chance to celebrate the hard work that has allowed us to shift from response to recovery,” says Reuben.

“We have a solid plan to recover and rebuild Aotearoa by investing in the jobs, people and industries that underpin our future success. This is a chance to connect and build confidence in our community, in Selwyn and all across New Zealand.”

Reuben Davidson was born and bred in Canterbury and is proud to be the Labour candidate for Selwyn. Since completing a degree at the New Zealand Broadcasting School, Reuben has had over 20 years experience producing in the creative worlds of the arts and broadcasting. His whole life has been about working with people and getting the job done.

Reuben will bring heart, motivation, grit and determination to the next Jacinda Ardern-led Labour Government.
