Richard Aslett - Live Music & Funtime Karaoke Party

Take a summer drive out to Awastone River Haven Resort, just over the bridge from Mangaweka village on SH1, to join Richard Aslett & Friends for an afternoon of Fun-time Hits and Karakoe in the most beautiful outdoor surrounds!

Richard will be singing the hit songs that he performed on TV1's New Zealand's Got Talent, including his scorching hot audition "Light My Fire" and the rebel-roasting "Ring of Fire" as he performed on the NZGT Grand Final. Who knows? If you scream loud enough he may even perform his gender-bending rendition of Katy Perry's rip-roaring "Roar" that delighted the 2000+ audience at Auckland’s Sky City and was broadcast on channel 3's most recent NZ X-Factor series? For certain there will be a variety of other blistering hot hits to get up and boogie to, from the 50's right through to Today, as Richard opens the session around 4pm with a set sure to delight young and old.

Following this there is than the chance to get up and shine yourself with the ‘KrAzY Karaoke Session’ with hundreds of popular tunes to choose from starting around 5pm in the afternoon and running to around 7pm in the evening. There are fun hits galore, from all eras to choose from, yet if you are a slightly ‘serious’ Karaoke performer, simply bring your own backing-track on either CD, DVD or pen drive, and the stage is all yours!

Come Rain or Shine the versatile Awastone venue will provide a stunning backdrop to the Papa Cliff's and the Rangitikei River. Be sure to be there early to claim your seat! With a fully stocked licensed bar offering regular & craft beers, wine, spirits & cocktails plus refreshing cool non-alcoholic drinks and a wide selection of tasty full meals or smaller bar snacks, be sure to make this a ‘must be there’ event to add to your calendar! Doors open around 2:30pm with the Live Music & merriment starting around 4pm, running till around 7pm or so, yet with a full sized pool table, on-going food and the bar services still available, you are most welcome to stay on a while and mingle with friends old & new ‘till around 9pm afterwards….
