Let's Talk Peninsula is a celebration of the Artists of the Otago Peninsula - the scenery - the attractions - the people - the wildlife.

Its about promoting one of the most amazing places - not only in Dunedin and Otago but in the country.

We are also promoting and raising funds for the Charity "The Dunedin Wildlife Hospital" This section of the is called "With Love from the peninsula" and is a section of small works A5 in size these are all priced at $120 and there are many well known artists contributing to this section as well as the members of OpenArts.

During the exhibition there are six lunch time talks by prominent Peninsula people. Sept 8 Rachel McGregor from Port to Port Cruises - "A new era of Women Aboard"; Sept 9 Ian Griffin Otago Museum "Starry nights on the Otago Peninsula; Sept 10 Jordana Whyte Dunedin Wildlife Hospital - The work and Place of the hospital to the Peninsula and beyond; Sept 11 (12:30) Margaret Barker Larnach Castle "The Gardens of Larnach Castle"; Sept 15 Sophie Barker Otago Peninsula Trust - "Stories of sharing our famous treasure trove"; Sept 16 James Higham - "My Bike ride from Cape Reinga to Bluff" Fund raising for the Wild Life Hospital.

All talks except for Margaret Barker are at 12:00 midday.

These events will entertaining, informative and will be well worth attending!

We will also have our Doodle Table! This is an interactive event for the public to express their 'artistic' doodles - or words or poems or whatever they wish to create! This will be a fun event!

All visitors to the exhibition can also vote for their favourite artist AND go into the draw for one of the fabulous prizes donated by Peninsula businesses!
