"My Life to Live" is a photographic exhibition which shares the lives of refugee 'background workers' and their contribution to Aotearoa. Photographer Ehsan Hazaveh captures the day to day struggles workers face on a Minimum Wage and the hopes and aspirations that a Living Wage helps realise.

This successful exhibition was shown in Wellington and Auckland in 2019. The Waikato Living Wage Aotearoa New Zealand are proud to bring the exhibition to Kirikiriroa Hamilton with the support of Living Wage Aotearoa New Zealand, the Waikato Refugee Forum, Home Kitchen, Poverty Action Waikato, Go Eco, Free FM and Wintec's RAMP Gallery. We also acknowledge all sponsors of previous exhibitions of "My Life to Live".

This exhibition is part of the Festival of Disruption. There should be no gap between the Minimum Wage ($17.70) and the Living Wage ($21.15).

We extend a warm welcome to the exhibition opening on the 26th of March at 7pm. Opening hours for the gallery for the following week TBA.
