An inclusive, fun, exciting choir! A place for all women regardless of ages, abilities and ethnicities to get together and experience the joy of community singing. Whether you are an accomplished singer, someone who only sings in the shower, someone who never sings, someone who is afraid of singing, someone who was told you can't sing, this is a place for you to discover your own voice and have your voice heard.
We will sing songs from around the world, learn some vocal warm-ups, play with rhythm, move around, dance, breathe together and create some beautiful harmonies. The choir is directed by Lala Simpson, a community song leader, vocalist, composer and dancer from Madagascar. Lala brings a wealth of experience in working with people of all ages and teaching world music. If you are a student, let us know and you can get a 15% discount on the term fee.
