Wellington's sublime new folk duo 'In The Shallows' will be playing the first Hawkes Bay show of their 2020 Summer Tour at The Common Room - with support from the fabulous Eilish Rose - a gig not to be missed!

In The Shallows are a Wellington based acoustic duo specialising in atmospheric acoustic folk music.
Danni Parsons and Lance Shepherd met by chance in July 2019.

After swiftly realising they share the same musical goals, they immediately set about writing and recording a bunch of songs before the backdrop of Kapiti Island under the the name ‘In The Shallows’
Their etherial guitar moods and honest, sometimes heartbreaking vocal harmonies are reminiscent of an early Angus & Julia Stone with a touch of Everly Brothers’ catchiness around the edges.

The duo are currently working on their debut album to be released in 2020 with producer Steve Rokosh (Calgary, Canada and Nashville, USA ). His clients include Emmylou Harris, Sass Jordan, Ruben Young, Jocelyn Alice and many more. He has also scored music for ABC Family, Electronic Arts and Universal Music.

In The Shallows are embarking on a 7 date Summer Tour between December and March 2019-2020. They will be performing in a number select venues across the country including the Evolve festival in Nelson.

Eilish is a professional entertainer based in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
