Our Presenter:
Nadin Ismail moved from Egypt to New Zealand in 2015 with her partner and their three children. She has always been passionate about Parenting, Self-Improvement, and Community Services in all the areas she has lived in.

Once her children enrolled in primary school, she took the opportunity to participate in a parenting course through Whanau Marama Parenting to learn new methods on how to improve her relationship with her children. This course was called “Effective Discipline.” After finishing the 10-week course she was offered a position at Whanau Marama as a volunteer co-facilitator for the same course.

After volunteering for 2 years she has accepted the position of lead facilitator and has been leading and teaching the course for more than a year. Nadin feels confident the skills she has learned at Whanau Marama and in teaching this course has created a positive impact on her relationship with her children and knows it can provide that same opportunity for those that take the opportunity to learn and implement these ideas for their families.
