The Family Entertainment Zone returns to the SkyCity Boxing Day Races and with it, free family entertainment.

Located right in a precinct within the centre of the racetrack, this is the area if you're seeking a laid back way to spend your Boxing Day Races and need a little 'additional entertainment' to keep the little ones happy.

Free pony rides, a bouncy castle, a mobile barnyard, swing ball sets and organised games & activities from the team at Kelly Sports will keep the younger ones entertained between races.

Bring your own picnic lunch or use our BBQ to cook your Christmas Day leftovers off. Otherwise, let the area's food trucks do the hard work for you and purchase food off them.

You’re also welcome to bring along your own unopened non-alcoholic beverages, as well as chairs, umbrellas, picnic rugs (etc) to this precinct (just note that you will need to carry your items in from the car park).

Bars will be operating within this area from which you can purchase non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages from (a suitable form of photographic ID will be required for any alcoholic beverage purchases).

Additional tickets may be required if you wish to access other areas of the racecourse including the stables and the Fashions in the Field competition.

- On-site car parking is free
- Under 15s go free
