Eden Arts Art Schools Award

Now in its tenth year and generously hosted once again this year by Webb's Auction House in Mt Eden, the Eden Arts award brings together the Central Auckland art schools under one roof and offers up to $8500 in prize money to current undergraduates. Five finalists from each school - AUT, Elam, AUT and Whitecliffe - are invited to submit work which is then judged (anonymously) by an independent judging panel selected by the Eden Arts Trust.

Eden Arts is pleased to announce that this year's judges are artist Peata Larkin, Curator at Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery Chloe Geoghegan, and freelance writer and curator Francis McWhannell.

The award exhibition promises an exciting and true glimpse into the art practices of tomorrow's new artists. Open for viewing - everyone welcome!
