The lushest boutique festival around! Community, friends, family, dancing barefoot on the lawn, picnic under the trees, games and amazing live music into the night. Coro Summer Fest is a beautiful small music festival, a celebration of summer goodness held on family land just north of Coromandel Town in a lush pocket of native bush. It’s a fantastic day out - family friendly, safe for kids and a good solid party for the adults!
The music covers a varied range of styles, picked from artists that organisers Matt Sephton and Caitlin Moloney really love and artists that Matt has come across in his work as a travelling freelance sound engineer.
The Coro Summer Fest has grown from a practice of bringing community together, creating connection through the arts and finding passion in bringing joy to others. Beginning as a small community gathering to see one or two bands that were touring over the summer and looking for places to perform, Coro Summer Fest has developed into a truly unique and special event.
The 2020 lineup includes:
- The Nomad
- Unchained XL
- Ben Catley
- Turkey The Bird
- Oakley Grenell
- AlleyKat
- The HuneyBee Wild
- Cloak Bay
- The Wanderer performing live visuals
Limited to only 400 tickets.
Children under 12 are free (when accompanied by an adult and kept under a reasonable amount of control).
This is a family friendly event. For most of the day the vibe is pretty chill, there are games to play, a creek to play in, friends to catchup with, and great music. The music will get more ruckus and lively as the evening progresses, finishing up with big hefty bass music to round out the evening.
Food:
There will be some super delicious food available to purchase. We invite you to bring your own picnic, or cash to use at one of the vendors.
Brought to you by Matt Sephton and Caitlin Moloney - Coro Sonic Lab.
