Experience more than 50 cultures woven together and celebrating their uniqueness in one place on one day.
Feel Auckland’s multi-cultural character from our early Māori roots at Te Pā Harakeke to delicious food offerings, dance, music, traditional dress and family fun from around the world.
Join us for the Mihi Whakatau at 9.30am, immerse yourself in every culture and come to the Pā Nui for a sharing of thoughts and experiences, embracing cultural inclusiveness, belonging and understanding.
Add to the mix a football tournament bringing teams of Aucklanders from almost every continent together on the field. It’s anyone’s game!
“Our vision is for all Aucklanders to be proud of our multi-cultural city and feel a strong sense of belonging here. We want the festival to enable Aucklanders to celebrate, share and experience the stories and vibrancy of all of the people who make this city home,” says David Burt, Manager of Events for Auckland Council’s Arts, Community and Events team.
Come to the 21st Auckland International Cultural Festival, brought to Mt Roskill War Memorial Park by Auckland Council and supported by SkyCity.
