At this wine exploration event, we are featuring classic aromatic white grape varieties while we still have the favour of the sun-gods.
The Classic 'Aromatic' white grapes that we will look at includes Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer. We will compare New Zealand examples to the original versions from Italy, France and Germany across the spectrum from dry to luscious. The wines will be accompanied by tasting platters.
These events combine a bit of history, wine education, humour, and socialising with fellow wine enthusiasts. If you are lover of aromatic white wines, this is a great opportunity to compare the different styles of the wines from different places around the world.
