Auckland Clef Music Club’s September Concert is devoted to the folk music and ballads of many countries, including England, Ireland, North America and Brazil. You will hear arrangements of many of the old favourites, plus one or two less familiar pieces.
This music will be presented by regular Clef Club Performers:

- Timothy Burrell — baritone
- Cindy Jonker — mezzo soprano
- Michael Macmillan — bass baritone
- Anne Shanks — soprano
- Edria Voursalle Jeffs — soprano
along with special Guest Performers:
- Camila De Oliveira — piano
- Margo Knightbridge — mezzo soprano
Now that the evenings are drawing out, do come along and enjoy this feast of folk song!
The Concert, as usual, will conclude with a generous supper — all included in the $10 ticket-price.
Clef Club’s concerts are held at the Fickling Centre venue, occurring from February through to November—normally on the third Tuesday of the month. For those keen on hearing mainly classical vocal and instrumental music on a regular basis and at reasonable cost, this is the place for you!
All newcomers are welcome, either as members, or on a casual basis and, of course, new singers and instrumentalists are especially welcome to augment our pool of Performing Members. Our new 2019—2020 Season Subscription commences in October, so this an ideal time to come along and see what we’re about and, if you’re a performer, to perhaps arrange an audition.
