With its origins dating back to 1842, Langmeil Winery plays a large part in Australian wine history, and is home to what is believed to be the world’s oldest Shiraz vineyard, The Freedom 1843.
It has been family owned and operated by six generations of the Lindner family, who make wines that are the quintessence of Barossa, drawing on decades of wine making and grape growing in the region.
Join Leigh Woodrow from Langmeil on a varietal voyage of Langmeil’s wines from Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Grenache to two vintages of The Freedom 1843.
Here’s the full line-up to be served with tasty antipasto…
