The Royal Danish String Quintet (Den Kongelige Kapels Strygekvintet og Lars Hastrup) will be holding a concert at Danish House on the 13th February at 7pm.
The Royal Danish String Quintet was founded in 2013. Together with trombone soloist Lars Hastrup they have played extensively in Denmark and have made two tours to Chile and Argentina.This exceptional combination of instruments has performed for chamber music societies, in churches and has also given open air concerts. Their wide repertoire includes classical works, jazz standards and popular pieces.
The group is bringing us a wide-ranging repertoire, so you will be treated to a night of Dvorak, Mozart, Schubert, Haydn, Grieg, Mendelssohn, Bartholdy, Carl Nielsen, Piazolla, G. Miller, Saint Saëns, Rossinia and Guilmant.
Entry $5, tickets can be purchased at the door (cash only).
Please be aware this event is open to the general public, so seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
Doors open at 6.30pm.
