This concert marks the 5th year since Wairua Sinfonietta’s inauguration. In celebration of our birthday, we are holding a concert on the 13th of October at Auckland Town Halls’ cozy Concert Chamber.
For this concert are very excited to work with distinguished Soloists: including Pianist Matteo Napoli performing Chopin’s technique demanding Andante spianato et Grand polonaise brillante; Soprano Lilia Carpinelli singing Mozart’s Ch’io mi Scordi di te?; Violinist Simone Roggen performing Piazolla’s Primavera Porteña, a tango capturing springtime in Buenos Aires; as well as Mezzo-Soprano Mary Newman-Pound performing NZ Premiere of the cantata The Eventide by Keith Moss.
