South Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club Community Beach Clean Up

Celebrate this year’s SEAWEEK in our very special part of New Zealand.

Join the South Brighton Surf Life Saving Club and wider community in helping to keep our coastline clean.

Meet at the Club from 11am and head out from there to do your part in the clean up.
(We recommend wearing gloves and closed in shoes, please bring rubbish bags or containers to collect in, a water bottle and sunscreen too).

Collected rubbish should be brought back to South Brighton Surf Club for removal, by 1pm.

While there, enjoy a bite to eat (see below) and afterwards, stay and enjoy a swim or a walk on the beach.

Surf Club Fundraisers on the day:
- Sausage sizzle – $2 each
- Sustainable products for sale – all proceeds to the club
(produce bags, wax wraps, metal straws, reusable shopping bags)
