Learn to Snorkel and Marine Survey with DOC and Discovery Through Nature.

Learn to snorkel safely and with purpose. Discover how real marine biologists survey for fish, invertebrates and algae. Explore the marine species that live in the Bay of Plenty and their distinguishing features. Learn how to write and swim underwater, all at the same time! Have fun and learn how to do more to protect our marine environment!

Specific requirements: for children 8 years and older only, must be able to swim 50 meters confidently and without stopping, able to put your head underwater and duck dive with confidence. Bring togs and a towel.

Booking essential. Number of places strictly limited (max 20). Snorkel gear is provided but if you have your own equipment please bring it with you.
