KiwiHarvest: Kai With a (re)purpose

Silo Park is partnering with our friends at KiwiHarvest to bring you Kai with a (re)Purpose. This will be our first food event dedicated to utilising rescued food!

KiwiHarvest is an organisation dedicated to rescuing New Zealand's perishable food. The non-profit collect good, surplus fresh food from commercial outlets and distribute it to those in need.

In March, five local food truck favourites will transform kai rescued from KiwiHarvest into delicious meals for you to enjoy! A percentage of all sales will go back to KiwiHarvest to help them rescue more food to help nourish communities across New Zealand.

Confirmed food trucks include The Pie Piper, Judge Bao, Hangi Masterr, The Rolling Pin, and Lalele Organic Gelato who will serve different dishes with a positive focus on avoiding food waste!

Come along to eat and learn about avoidable food waste. It will be a flavoursome and fun day for all to enjoy.

*Due to the nature of food rescue, KiwiHarvest and the food vendors cannot determine what will be on the menu until the week of the event.
