Introduction Healing with the Kawakawa Plant - Maori Rongoa.

Learn why the Kawakawa is one of the most cherished healing plants to Maori and unique to our New Zealand culture. This learning workshop is an introduction to the healing aspects of the Kawakawa plant based on Rongoā Māori/Traditional Māori Healing.

The following will be covered:
- Tikanga (Custom) of the ngahere/forest and collecting Maori Rongoa
- Correct identification of the Kawakawa plant and its numerous uses
- How to prepare the Kawakawa plant for making healing oils and poultice
- 1 on 1 spiritual and physical healing session with the Kawakawa plant and Mamaku to cleans, release, and clear.

The first half of the introduction will be conducted outdoors at a park within 1km from the workshop venue. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring rainwear.

The second half of the introduction will include tea, coffee and light refreshment at the Elizabeth Campbell Hall venue followed by a 1 on 1 healing session with Kawakawa for all attendees. Bring something to lay on (yoga mat or blanket) and a cushion.

Cost $50 includes light refreshments.
