Whether you're happy to grow herbs in pots or want to take a shot at suburban self-sufficiency, Lynda's expert advice will include: seed sowing, soil improvement, crop rotation, planting for pollinators, eco-friendly pest and disease control, the best vegie varieties, seasonal fruit crops and money-saving suggestions. Plus bring your questions & let Lynda answer them.

Grow your own Christmas gifts, from old-fashioned cottage posies to preserves with a festive flavour in this delicious hands-on demonstration by Kiwi gardening guru Lynda Hallinan. Lynda will share her favourite flowers for picking, to bring in bees and butterflies, and to add old-fashioned charm to your garden year-round. Learn how to make floral buttonholes, herbal tussie-mussies and table decorations, plus seasonal gifts to share, from strawberry jam to candied citrus zest to luscious liqueurs, cordials and rhubarb champagne.

Bookings are essential and numbers limited.
Each workshop $40 per person.

Homestyle Lunch $20 per person incl. tea/coffee.

If you book both workshops and lunch, it’s only $90 for the day.
