We have a special night of music planned to kick off November in style. Hobnail are regular visitors to Christchurch Folk Club, but their shows have always been held on mid-winter Sunday nights.
As much as they love playing to a sit-down Sunday audience, getting an audience up and dancing is part of their DNA, so we are pleased to announce the Hobnail Knees Up! Of course there will be plenty of room to sit and enjoy, but if you feel like dusting off your dancing shoes here’s your chance.

You are invited to stay after the dance concludes for the Rugby World Cup Final which begins on the big screen at 10pm hosted by the Irish Society. There is no charge for this rugby viewing event.
Doors open 7.00pm
Dance starts at 7.30pm.
The hall is situated up the long driveway, directly next to Domain Park, and there is plenty of well-lit off-street parking.
Door sales cash only: Food available to purchase through the night, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for purchases only, no cash-out facility. Folk Club and Irish Society members please remember to bring your current membership card as this is required for new club licensing. Non-members sign in at bar.
