Wood-Fired Kiln from Thu 10 Oct
The huge wood-fired kiln will be fired up for the first time in three years, this takes four days to load and will be started on 10 October. The kiln fire will be kept burning for five days and nights by a team of volunteers and opened up on the Lazy Sunday Open Studios.

Fire and Clay Night Sat 19 Oct, 6pm
An exciting night of culture, craft and fire for the whole whanau with an introduction to pōwhiri, featuring raku-firing ceramics, pit-firing of ceramics, kapa haka, hāngi, and a bronze pour. There will be a community fire and drum jam with bonfire after 7.30pm.

Lazy Sunday Open Studios and Artisan Market 27 Oct, 10am
The Waiohiki Village artists will open their studios - come and visit their exhibitions and browse their quality handmade goods.
