Grafia, an acronym for "get right away from it all", a folk rock band based in the Wairarapa, plays a mix of folk, Irish, Americana, blues and country rock songs for easy listening, to get feet tapping and to inspire those who love dancing.

We play a mix of originals from the album "Ultimately Free" soon to be re-released having been re-mixed as "Think about it" after the catchy boogie blues song that Keith and Rob wrote in 2015, and covers of songwriters such as J J Cale, Robert Hunter, Bob Dylan, Mark Knopfler, Jimmy McCarthy, Van Morrison, John Foggerty, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Jon Lennon, Rufus Thomas, Booker T, Donovan, Old Crow Medicine Show, etc.

For this gig Dave Murphy will be joining Keith and Rob on lead guitar and back-up vocals. Keith will be playing the band's new Yamaha Synth/Keyboard and /or bass guitar and Rob will be doing lead vocals, playing acoustic rhythm guitar and occasional harmonica.

The service and atmosphere at RSC is warm-hearted and joyful and you will definitely have a good time coming on over to this iconic venue for Friday night, Jan 11th.

There's no cover charge for Friday night at RSC but a koha contribution would be much appreciated.
