A true Italian excellence, Gian Marco Ciampa is one of the best classical guitarists in the international scene… and is finally coming to New Zealand!
Born in 1990, since he was a child has taken part and won several music competitions all over the world like the “Tokyo International Guitar Competition” or the “Melbourne International Guitar Competition”, not to mention many other prizes. Ciampa’s versatility has also taken him to collaborate with great names of Italian music such as Coez, Mogol, Margherita Vicario and Ilaria Porceddu.
The Tour will have 4 New Zealand dates, beginning the 11.10 in Wellington, to finish the 19.10 in Auckland, passing through New Plymouth and Hamilton. The artist will also hold masterclasses. He will play music by Giulio Regondi, Francisco Tarrega, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Leo Brouwer.
