Francis-Lee Duo - Chamber Music Concert

A mid-week musical treat brought to you by the Francis-Lee Duo!

Join violinist Dr Charlotte Francis and pianist Gemma Lee on Wednesday 11 December for a delightful one-hour programme of chamber music, including Beethoven's ever-popular 'Spring' Sonata for Violin and Piano.

Charlotte is highly in demand as a violin teacher and has performed with major orchestras including both Dunedin and Christchurch Symphony Orchestras. She plays on a violin made in 1741 by Giacomo Zanoli.

Gemma holds a Master of Music with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland and has received numerous major scholarships, including the Pettman/ROSL International Chamber Music Scholarship and the first ever Pettman/DARE Scholarship in Music Education. She works regularly with the music department at Takapuna Grammar School and is a committee member for the biennial Wallace International Piano Festival.
