Are you interested in young female athletes’ health and wellbeing?
Join us for the third Female Athlete Health Symposium, and the first time being held in Auckland!
Hosted by the University of Waikato in partnership with High Performance Sport NZ's WHISPA group (Healthy Women in Sport: A Performance Approach), the symposium will feature an exciting line-up of speakers, including leading scientists, researchers, health professionals, coaches and athletes.
Issues discussed will have a particular focus on young female athletes, including nutrition, preventing injuries, low energy availability and relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S), body image, bone health, and many other important topics.
