The Dalmatian Cultural Society invites you to their Showcase Concert of 2019.
An End of Year concert of song, dance, music and cultural costumes by the folklore groups of the Dalmatinsko Kulturno Drustvo Inc. A folklore Tale will be narrated for the first time by the Croatian Language Students.
A culmination of a year's hard work by the pupils of all ages from the young and the young at heart, and their enthusiastic Tutors. We have Kolos (dances), Tumburica Orchestra melodies, Choirs singing songs from Croatia and other Balkan countries.
The costumes have been painstakingly cared for by an experienced wardrobe Mistress. Do come along with family and friends and enjoy what one of the oldest Cultural Societies in Auckland has to offer.
Raffle tickets will be sold on entry and drawn three times at different times throughout the performance. Following this there is to be a Dalmatian Christmas Market selling our delicacies, jams, biscuits, gifts and Christmas decorations.
This is a showcase event not to be missed. Children under 15 years - free admission.
