In the ancient world, the Autumn Equinox was one of the most important days in the year. It marked a time of change in the seasons and the tasks and lives of the people. It was the time of the Harvest Festival. To the druids it was known as Alban Elfed, Mabon in the Wiccan tradition.

In keeping with the ancient Celtic traditions we will be holding a special evening at Stonehenge Aotearoa including ancient tales of the Autumn Equinox from our Storyteller
