In association with the Westpac trust helicopter The Snapper festival is an iconic event for the Auckland City and Takapuna beach where the message is "This is our Kiwi summer”!
The Snapper festival is not only about celebrating New Zealand’s most sought after fish! But everything it represents to the region of Auckland and beyond.
The Snapper Festival will bring Kiwis together to celebrate, educate and compete on one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the world - Takapuna Beach. The Hauraki Gulf is one of the major recreational grounds for New Zealanders. It’s to be enjoyed and respected! The Snapper festival will educate, celebrate and enjoy one of Auckland’s greatest treasures!
$10 from every ticket sold goes to the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust.
