Celebrations run wild on and off-track on New Year's Day at Ellerslie with a feast of 10 races and a fantastic range of ticketing options to suit any taste and budget!
Arguably the best day's racing in the country, expect to be entertained by some of New Zealand's best horses and jockeys competing for the high stakes and status of top-class races.
Swap the fascinators for the flip-flops and enjoy a day out on the public lawns or put on your newest outfit and soak up the action from one of the many hospitality options on offer.
There’s no better way to say goodbye to the old, and say hello to the new you!
Hospitality options including private functions are available for purchase or booking. Children under 15 years get in free.
Racecourse gates open 10.30am | Hospitality options open 11.30am | First race runs at about 1.00pm. After the last race, join us for a drink in Cuvée (R18, dress code may apply, intoxicated persons will not be permitted).
