Once again, we are proud to announce the unforgettable experience!
It has been 9 years since the last Pageant and the Waipu Museum is keen to make this a 10 yearly event. Last time commemorated 150 years since the first Nova Scotian settlers arrived in Waipu, next year it will be 160 years and once again, the Waipu Museum, Lauchie McLean and local volunteers will be pulling together another unforgettable experience.
On these January evenings of 2013, ten years will have passed. There will be no moon and a full tide in the ‘Glebe’. Once again the people of Waipu will retell their miraculous story. The epic saga of New Zealand’s oldest European community.
Be a part of this ten yearly momentous outdoor extravaganza! A breath-taking spectacle of light, sound, drama, magic, wonder.
Featuring the narration of Dame Fiona Kidman.
Tickets will be available around August 2012 - fill out an order form at the Museum, If you want to secure your tickets early! Ticket prices still to be confirmed.
Evening programme starts at 7.00pm
