That Old Night Life is the first show in the 2013 Pop Up Concert Series which was launched last year to support communities and musicians following the loss of performance venues in Christchurch.
The grassroots cabaret style shows offers a warm intimate informal atmosphere echoing the early cabarets of Europe and Prohibition America.
Scottish born blues icon and all round entertainer hosts the sell out shows which contain elements of theatre, satire, music hall and vaudeville supported by a superb line up of world class local jazz blues and contemporary Celtic renaissance composers and musicians with invited guests.
Bookings are essential as numbers are limited to 140.
