This Auckland Anniversary Weekend, Silo Cinema and the Mayor of Auckland, Len Brown presents: The Mayor's Movie: The Sound of Music. Each year going forward Silo Park will be inviting the incumbent Mayor of Auckland to select a film to be screened on Auckland Anniversary Weekend. This year Len Brown has chosen the family favourite The Sound of Music. Come down and celebrate being an Aucklander, watch a special message from the Mayor and enjoy Auckland's Waterfront. As always the film will be complimented by the Silo Night Market where you'll be able to grab dinner from an eclectic array of street food style stalls, and of course toast the great city of Auckland at the Silo Park Bar.
