See paintings come to life, and experience a fiesta of music, circus and performance art. Let yourself be enticed further into the world of the artist’s vision! Featuring circus performance by The Magenta Diamond's Cabinet of Curiosities & Priyavanti Makwana

Circus of the Soul exhibition is a multi-artist interpretation of the inner landscape of the psyche, with all its bizarre beauty, desires, fears and wonderment. Internationally lauded artists are exhibiting with the newly emerging.

Featuring the artwork of Liam Barr, Craig Campbell, Fluke, Mark Gee, S.S. Lightsmith, Bruce Luxford, Mandi Lynn, Priyavanti Makwana, Jade Townsend, Amber Varde, Sarah Wilkins and Helen Williamson.

Free entry. Drinks and nibbles available from the venue.

Circus of the Soul participating Artists:

Liam Barr- Exquisitely rendered oil paintings which weave narratives of the New Zealand experience through history and legend to the contemporary

Craig Campbell- Classical sculptures from fine to grand including noted public sculpture

Fluke- Moulds subjects, title, mood, color into a cohesive and engaging story where magical realism steps outside the realms of reality and suggest the impossible

Mark Gee- Photographer & digital visual effects artist who has worked on many high profile & Oscar award-winning feature films and whose images of the cosmos have attracted international attention

Stephanie Sinclaire Lightsmith- Visionary paintings exploring the feminine divine and the seeker’s journey. International exhibition curator, film & theatre director/ writer/ producer.

Bruce Luxford- Finely wrought surrealist oil paintings exploring the boundless fields of scale, space and illusion.

Mandi Lynn- Internationally award winning photographer and fine art story teller creating inspiring and imaginative soul-scapes that range from whimsical to darkly elemental.

Priyavanti Makwana- Ink illustration exploring fractal and organic forms, performance artist, jewellery designer, circus performer and opera singer

Jade Townsend- Jade’s artistic practice is cross-medium, multi-disciplinary with emphasis on storytelling. Inspired by the Harlequin this new series continues a dialogue expanding her use of vibrant colour patterned colour combinations.

Amber Varde - Ethereal pop surrealism portraiture in watercolours.

Sarah Wilkins- New Zealand born Paris based illustrator whose sophisticated & witty work has been seen around the world

Helen Williamson- Multi-talented visual artist working mainly in photography and semi-realistic paintings. Colour and light is handled with confidence in these stirring, yet poetic, observations of life and humanity.
