Paul Orion (DJ):
Paul has been in the game for 12 years and has held residencies all over Auckland. He has played support for many international acts and been involved in a stack of solid events and gigs. He is the voice for Grass Green Recordings on Radio Ponsonby 8pm till 10pm Monday nights. His show highlights some of the best local and international nu disco/deep house producers.
You can also catch him regularly playing jazz, nu jazz, nu soul, downbeat and funk at cool little bar in Kingsland on Friday evenings. His sound has evolved through all forms of house music. These days the best way to describe his sound is solid deep nu disco.
Greg Tell (Percussionist):
Greg Tell, drummer, percussionist, songwriter, recording artist and teacher, has over 35 years professional experience playing recording and teaching all around the world. He hails from Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Music with Honours from UCLA .
He has worked internationally with diverse artists such as Renee Geyer, The Sylvers, Hugh Masekela, Marcia Hines, and Andrew Lloyd Webber. His bands such as G T Express and South Harlem Concerto have toured as supporting acts for Elton John, The Average White Band, Jose Feliciano and Lou Reed to name a few.
Within NZ he’s worked with artists such as Suzanne Lynch, Caitlin Smith, Anonymous hip hop group, Dixon Nacey, Tama Renata from 'Herbs' , Nigel Gavin and many more. Recent highlights include performing at the 42nd St. Jazz Festival in Los Angeles, 2012 Australasian Film & TV Awards and at the 2012 Bledisloe Cup at Auckland’s Eden Park.
Terry Mather (VDJ):
An all-round creative-slinger, hacking nothing into something, Terry is an artistic engineer with experiences in broadcasting, digital media and atmospheric visual forms. Turning such talents into uses for television and live VJing events over the years. And currently adding Radio DJ to his repertoire as host for 'Bassline Continuum' on Radio Ponsonby 10pm Saturdays, highlighting the lost sounds from the best eras in the Dance/Electronica music scene.
Terry G (DJ):
With a decade of mixing under his belt, mostly based in South Auckland, Terry G brings back the class to funky, soulful and deep sounds of house. With every beat Terry G brings you a fest of remixed classics and fresh cuts.
After DJ'ng for over 14 years hailing from South Africa, DJ Amedeus has taken his unique electronic sound to the UK, USA and now here in Auckland. From funky disco, electro to trance, DJ Amedeus is an talented crowd pleaser never to disappoint.
Wayne Baker (DJ):
Wayne has been a DJ & Event Director for over 3 years now and is the creator of brands such as "Acapella" & "Lets Get Jacked" and helps put on gigs for Gay Republic & OpenHouse's "Carnival" gigs. Wayne has also been working closely with Radio Ponsonby for the last two years with his own show and other projects.
With a huge passion for disco house and funk, Wayne has held a number residencies over Auckland central, played at the Big Gay Out Festival for the last two years and has also done a support set for Hed Kandi DJ, Bellatrax.
