Come Sailing - Matauri Bay to Opua, Bay of Islands. This is a unique sail where we join the new Rainbow Warrior on her first visit to New Zealand and pay respects to the original vessel. Board a bus at Opua Wharf 1000 to Matauri Bay, and visit the stunning Chris Booth memorial at Putataua Bay. Then tender to the R Tucker Thompson for lunch and sail to the resting place of the original Rainbow Warrior. Set sail to Opua at 1400 and tell tall stroies on the way; home to Opua Wharf at eta 2000. Not to be missed, this is a one-off so bring a smile and join us.
Your day includes:
- Transport Opua to Matauri Bay
- Visit to Chris Booth Rainbow Warrior Memorial at Matauri Bay
- Lunch on board
- Sail to Rainbow Warrior resting place
